A free rabies vaccine clinic for domestic cats and dogs will be held at the Washington Township DPW Building, 54 Rock Rd. in Long Valley, on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 9:00am to 11:00am.
No appointments are necessary. The clinic will be run, as it has in the past, on a first come, first served basis. All attendees will be required to maintain a 6' distance from others and face masks are required at this clinic regardless of COVID vaccination status.
The clinic is open to any resident of the state of New Jersey. Please note that all dogs must be on a leash, all cats must be contained in a carrier. Any dog that tends to be aggressive toward people or other animals MUST be muzzled and separated from others. It is suggested that these animals be taken to their veterinarian’s office for vaccination.
Unfortunately, due to the recent rise in positive COVID cases, there will be NO opportunity for Washington Township residents to license their cats and dogs at this clinic. All animal licensing must be done in the Municipal Building or by mail before January 30, 2022
