Holiday Home Decorating Contest (Registration is CLOSED)

 Dig out your holiday lights, blowups, reindeer, and decorations because the newest Washington Township tradition is about to start a “Holiday Home Decorating Contest”. Decorate your home front yard or business in the most creative or festive way possible.

Participation is opened to all residents and businesses within Washington Township, Long Valley.  Winners will be announced at a special brief award ceremony scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 4pm at Rock Spring Park Pavilion with a rain date of Sunday, December 12, 2020.  Winners will be presented with a signage and a prize.  The day would not be complete without a special visit from Santa. Let’s get into the holiday spirit as a community and join Santa for some hot chocolate and cookies.  The program will also include caroling from our local Township group.  Please note, we will still be practicing social distancing and masks will be required.   A map will be posted of all of our entries and winners after the ceremony.

To compete in this contest, an entry form showing intent to participate must be completed, signed, and submitted to Washington Township Recreation, no later than Monday, November 30, 2020 at 2pm.    For more information and to receive the instructional package please click on the link below.
