Coronavirus Update - March 27, 2020

There are no new COVID-19 positive confirmations in the Township to report today. The total number of positive cases in Washington Township remains at five. The Washington Township Health Department continues to monitor the positive cases and the individuals remain in isolation.

Washington Township has a new online portal for COVID-19 information available here.

Atlantic Health is in need of protective masks. Please visit their website to see how you can help by making masks at home.

Protect yourself from COVID-19 by practicing social distancing. If you’re sick call your health care provider. Call your doctor or hospital FIRST before driving.

Walking trails are open but playgrounds are closed. Please visit this map put together by one of the Township’s Eagle Scouts to find a trail of the beaten path.

Please take care of not only your physical health, but also your mental health in these trying times. For those who are struggling, you can find assistance online or by phone. More information is available from Morris County.

The recycling center will be open Saturday. We ask customers to unload their own recyclables and maintain six feet separation.

All Firearms Application & Registration System (FARS) applications will be processed with an expected delay due to the COVID-19 response and recovery. More information is available from the Police Department.

The Washington Township Police Department has started an online reporting system to help people get assistance with non-emergency matters. Citizens can report criminal mischief, harassment, lost property, property damage, minor thefts, and fraud/credit card theft. This is for non-emergency reports only.
