Capacity Limits for Religious Services and Large Sports and Entertainment Venues, and Spectators for Collegiate Sporting Events

On February 22, 2021, Governor Murphy signed Executive Order 125 increasing capacity limits for religious services and large sports and entertainment venues, and spectators for collegiate sporting events.

The increased capacity for religious services and certain collegiate sporting events takes effect immediately but may not exceed 35% of a room's capacity.  Separately, sports and entertainment venues with a fixed capacity of 5000 or more may reopen on March 1st but may not exceed 10% capacity for indoor venues and 15% capacity for outdoor venues.
